Lynnée Denise takes DJ Scholarship to Dresden, Germany

DJ Lynnée Denise flew from the Crenshaw District to Berlin, then took a train to Dresden to talk about a Black blues woman from Alabama, Willie Mae Big Mama Thornton. She was invited to participate in The Whole Life: Archives And Reality, a week long event by the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW). The event explored the structure of archives and the many ways they create space for alternative forms of knowledge production.
